This was during the Death Ride which includes over 15,000 feet of climbing. here is his Garmin Stats. Also, he is using the GoPro HD camera which I am seriously wanting to get. Shoots in 780p with 30 or 60 fps and even in 1080p at 30 fps.

Id be scared shitless to go that fast on rims that are basically the size of a snails lower intestines. Dont these people care what will happen if their tyre blows?

Yea, the guy is pretty great. Apparently he grew up in a mountainous region and is used to hills and the speed. You can tell by the riders he flies by that they aren't in an aero position and braking.
